Chicago, Illinois 4 Day Tour June 12th to 15th/12 August 21st to 24/12 ************************************** DAY 1: Chicago Bound A duty free stop will be made before crossing into USA. Several more comfort stops will be made before arriving in Chicago and home for the next 3 nights. The Seneca Hotel is situated in downtown Chicago and just one block from Chicago's Magnificent Mile. Each suite has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator & coffee makers, etc. Relax on the beautiful rooftop sundeck with chaise loungers. For shopping we are across from the Water Tower Place shopping mall, and a short stroll from Neiman-Marcus, Bloomingdale's and Oak Street boutiques. For entertainment, the Art Institute, Museum Campus, Oak Street Beach, Navy Pier and Rush Street's nightlife are all nearby. For dining, endless restaurants from world famous bistros to Chicago style pizza are all steps away. Arriving at our hotel by late afternoon or early evening you will have ample time to explore Chicago's famous landmarks on you own, or visit Chicago's newest attraction, Millenium Park, where you can experience everything from interactive public art, al fresco dining and free classical music presentations. Buffet meal included today. DAY 2: A Step-on guide dressed in fedoras and spats will join our group for a fun city tour. The Prohibition Era comes alive as we travel back to the days of Al Capone. See the sights as only a Chicago gangster can show you! This city tour will help you plan the remainder of your day. Perhaps spend time at Navy Pier's Beer Garden, a great place to grab a drink and enjoy a meal with awesome lake and skyline views. Delight in daily musical and theatrical productions by the Buccaneers, jugglers, magicians, costumed characters and more. Escort will be on hand to help plan your day. This evening we dine at Tommy Guns Garage - Chicago's only speakeasy dinner theatre where you will relive the roaring twenties amid gangsters and flappers with plenty of audience participation. DAY 3:Enjoy Chicago from another prospective on an exciting boat cruise along the Chicago River and its architectural landmarks. The experienced guides recount the dramatic story of Chicago's rise from the great fire of 1817 to become the home of skyscrapers and the cradle of modern architecture. Next you will get a bird's eye view of the city from high atop the Sears Tower. DAY 4: Homeward Bound A relaxing journey homeward will find us crossing the border by early afternoon.
