DAY 1: Florence, Indiana A duty free stop will be made before crossing into USA. Several comfort stops will be made before arriving in Florence, Indiana for overnight stay at the beautiful Belterra Casino Resort & Spa for our first night away from home. Here, you can browse your way through the new boutiques, pamper yourself in the Spa, relax in the indoor pool and hot tub or perhaps line your wallets at the electrifying casino. Buffet Dinner included this evening.
DAY 2:Cincinnati, Ohio After a bountiful buffet breakfast, we make the short journey to Cincinnati. Upon arrival, a step-on guide will join our group for an informative area tour. Following the tour you will have time to explore the National Underground Railroad Freedom Centre. Although the Centre is well known for its chronicles of fugitive slaves seeking freedom, there are other focuses as well: genealogy guidance, a national outreach program linking historic Underground Railroad sites and the disturbing prevalence of human trafficking in today's world. Next, we check into our comfortable accommodations for a 2-nigh stay. Enjoy happy hour with free drinks and snacks. This evening brings a relaxing dinner cruise on the Ohio River while watching the sun set on the Cincinnati skyline.
DAY 3: Cincinnati, Ohio The first half of this day will be spent at the gorgeous Union Terminal Building and the Cincinnati Museum Centre with three action-packed museums. You will have quality time to explore the History Museum, the Museum of Natural History and Science and the Children's Museum. An OMNIMAX film will round off your visit. The afternoon will be spent at Newport on the Levee, a vibrant tourist attraction situated on the river with breathtaking views of the Cincinnati skyline. Enjoy the many shops, restaurants, pubs, entertainment, outdoor patios and the magnificent Newport Aquarium showcasing thousands of animals from around the world in a million gallons of water. You'll be amazed at all there is to see and do, including touching a shark and the march of the penguins. This evening you will have the option of shopping at a large mall or a relaxing swim back at the hotel after a busy day.
Day 4: Homeward bound After an included buffet breakfast we make our way homeward. A buffet meal is included before crossing the border back into Canada.
