DAY 1:Dry Ridge, Kentucky (1 night)First stage of our journey will take us to Dry Ridge, Kentucky for overnight stay.
DAY 2: Nashville, Tennessee (1night)
Arriving in Nashville by early afternoon you will have free time to explore downtown on your own. Next, we check into comfortable accommodations for overnight stay. "Nightlife dinner theatre is included tonight"
DAY 3: Memphis, Tennessee (1 night) This morning, a step-on guide will join our group for a tour of Nashville. Next we depart for Memphis and take in a tour of Elvis Presley's home "Graceland" Overnight in Memphis. This evening you will dine on southern fare and enjoy live jazz music at B.B. Kings Jazz Club located on world-famous Beale Street.
DAY 4: Natchez, Mississippi (1 night) Arriving in Natchez by early afternoon we have included a lovely meal at the Carriage House Restaurant. Next, you will have a driving tour of Natchez National Cemetery. A local guide will provide commentary of the famous and infamous people buried there. Evening free to explore on your own or perhaps try your luck at the casino.
DAY 5 -8: Baton Rouge and New Orleans (4 nights) This morning a step-on guide will join our group for a tour of Natchez and to visit an antebellum mansion. Next, we make our way to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and tour USS Kidd. Later today we arrive in New Orleans for a 4- night stay. Our lovely hotel is situated in the French Quarter untouched by Katrina and in the heart of all the action. The next few days will be spent exploring New Orleans with a Katrina Tour, a Swamp Tour, Jazz cruise, Mardi Gras World, the French Quarter and enjoying the Waterfront. While in New Orleans we have included a dinner at a famous restaurant Court of Two Sisters restaurant in the French Quarter and dinner aboard the Jazz Cruise. Also by popular request from previous visitors to New Orleans we have scheduled one free day to do as you please.
DAY 9: Chattanooga, Tennessee (1 nights) Arriving in Chattanooga by late afternoon you will have the rest of the day and evening free to relax, or shop and explore on your own.
DAY 10: Chattanooga, Lynchburg and Lebanon, Tn (1 night) This morning you will take the Incline Railway for breathtaking vistas from Lookout Mountain & Rock City Gardens. Lunch is included before departing for Lynchburg, Tn and a tour of Jack Daniel's Distillery. Overnight in Lebanon, Tn.
DAY 11: Florence, Indiana (1 night) A relaxing scenic journey will take us to Florence, Indiana for our last night away from home at the beautiful Belterra Hotel & Casino. Buffet dinner is included this evening.
DAY 12: Homeward bound A stop will be made at duty free before crossing back into Canada.
