DAY 1: Hagerstown, Maryland First stage of our journey will take us to Hagerstown, Maryland for an overnight stay. Buffet included today.
DAY 2:Norfolk, Virginia & Tattoo Arriving in Norfolk before noon you will have ample time to have lunch on your own and explore the Nato Booths before taking your VIP seats for the Tattoo. The Virginia International Tattoo. Presented with all the grandeur and splendor of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Pageantry & patriotism, spirit and spectacle, talent and teamwork, precision personified, you have to see it to believe it --- 850 performers join forces filling Scope Arena with music, majesty and might. Several Canadian bands will be performing so come along and give them your support. Dinner included following show. Accommodations for the next 4 nights will be on the beach with balconies overlooking the blue Atlantic Ocean.
DAY 3: This morning we visit the McArthur Center where you will have free time to have lunch and perhaps some shopping. Later today we visit the world's largest Naval Base. Upon arrival, military personnel will board our coach for a driving tour of the many ships and submarines based there. Next, we arrive at the USS Wisconsin. Ample time will be allowed to explore this magnificent Battleship on your own. Upon returning to our hotel you will have the remainder of the evening free. Escort will assist with options for your free time.
DAY 4: Morning free to relax. This afternoon it's "All Aboard" the Spirit of Norfolk for a sumptuous brunch cruise. You will dine in fine style and dance, or listen to music and perhaps enjoy a cocktail on the large open deck as you soak in the impressive skyline. Returning to the hotel later in the afternoon you will have the remainder of the day free, or take and optional activity this evening. Escort will advise of options.
DAY 5: Free day to do as you please
DAY 6:Lewisburg, PA As we depart Virginia Beach our spectacular journey will take us above and below water across the famous Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel (A tourist attraction on its own). The scenic journey will take us to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for our last night away from home. Farewell dinner included at the hotel.
DAY 7:Homeward bound today with a stop at the duty free shop. Buffet meal included.
