4 DAY TOUR: May 10 -13/12
DAY 1: Holland, Michigan Our journey will take us to Holland, Michigan situated on the shores of Lake Michigan and home for the next 3 nights. Upon arrival you will have ample time to unpack and relax before departing for an included dinner and the Doug Gabriel Show. Doug's show in Branson has been a favorite for Canadian visitors for many years and is still popular today.
DAY 2: Holland, Michigan
This morning a Dutch-costumed guide will join our group for a tour of Holland and the Tulip Lanes. Next, we have included a 3-course meal at Dutch Village, a unique complex with Amsterdam Street Organs, Historical Museums, Wooden Show Carvings, gift shops and live entertainment continuous throughout the day. You will have free time to explore the complex on your own before returning to our hotel by late afternoon to relax and freshen up. Oakridge Boys concert included this evening.
DAY 3: Holland, Michigan This morning you will attend a streetscrubbing where thousands of Klompen Dancers dressed in wooden shoes and Dutch costumes entertain you. This afternoon we have included a chicken BBQ served under the big tent before taking our reserved bleacher seats for the Music Parade. Following the parade we visit Veldheer's Tulip Farm and Delfware Factory. Holland's only tulip farm features a 14,000 square foot gift shop, over 30 acres of tulips with 125 varieties of tulips. Returning to the hotel you will have the remainder of the evening free, or take and optional shopping excursion to a local mall.
DAY 4: Grand Rapids, Michigan &Homeward Bound
This morning we visit Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, a beautiful oasis in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A tram tour of the sculpture garden is included. Buffet meal is included before crossing the border back to Canada.
