Montreal & Quebec City 5 Day Tour: Sept 4/12 DAY 1: Kingston & Montreal Our journey today will take us to Kingston for lunch and browsing on your own. Next, we continue on to Montreal for an overnight stay. Accommodations are situated downtown Montreal and a short walk to Old Montreal, underground shopping, the Latin Quarter, Chinese Quarter, Ste Catherine St and the vibrating St-Laurent Boulevard. Evening is free to explore on your own or try your luck at the casino. DAY 2: Montreal & Quebec This morning a Montreal guide will join our group. You will visit many of the well known tourist attractions including Notre Dame Cathedral, Mt. Royal, Old Montreal and much more. Following lunch on your own, we will drive to Quebec City, which is the only walled city north of Mexico. Accommodations for the next two nights Are situated downtown and just outside the walled city. A short walk will take you to restaurants, nightlife and the shopping district. This evening, a delicious French dinner will be enjoyed in Old Quebec City followed by free time to explore on your own. DAY 3: Quebec under the stars. After meeting our Quebec guide, we embark on a sightseeing tour of the beautiful, historic city of Quebec taking in such sights as: Old Quebec, the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel and many more. Enjoy strolling along the cobblestone streets and having lunch on your own at quaint European-style tearooms and outdoor cafes with delicious home-baked French pastries. This afternoon we will visit Ste-Anne-De-Beaupre with lots of time to explore the impressive shrine. This evening, it's all aboard the "MV Louis Joliet" for a fun evening of dining, dancing and cruising along the St. Lawrence River. Admire the breathtaking panorama of Quebec by night from the fully glassed-in dining room while savouring a five-course meal. End the 4-hour cruise on the dance floor or on the outside terrace. A truly memorable experience. DAY 4: Montmorency Falls and Montreal This morning, a cable car ride will provide a spectacular view at Montmorency Falls. Ample time will be allowed to soak in the surrounding beauty while having a morning coffee break. Later today we visit an authentic French Maple Sugar Shack where a typical French-Canadian meal will be served while being entertained with song and laughter. Upon returning to Montreal you will drive around Olympic Stadium before settling in for the night. DAY 5: Homeward bound today with fond memories of a truly French experience.
