Day 1-Atlantic City, New Jersey A relaxing, scenic journey will take us to the seaside resort of Atlantic City by early evening. Our two-nigh stay will be at the Tropicana Casino, situated on the boardwalk and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Evening free to enjoy the beach and boardwalk or try your luck at the casino. Buffet meal included en route today.
Day 2 - Atlantic City You have the freedom to do as you please today. Have a lazy morning, shop at the nearby outlet stores, walk along the beach, or visit the many casino's situated along the boardwalk. *Dinner and casino show this evening.
Day 3- New York City Departing Atlantic City, arrival in the "Big Apple" will be around noon. Enjoy lunch on your own at the vibrant Southstreet Seaport, a kaleidoscope of boutiques, street entertainers, street vendors, outdoor cafes, indoor restaurants and historic ships. Relax on a lounge chair and watch the tankers and tugboats pass under the Brooklyn Bridge. Following lunch a New York guide will join our group and take you on an informative tour of New York City. You will drive through many of the well-known neighborhoods and tourist attractions and see where the rich and famous live. A photo stop will also be made at ground zero with some amazing memorials. Next, you will have free time at Times Square to dine or browse on your own. Accommodations for the next two nights will be in Secaucus New Jersey. Our lovely 3-star hotel is situated in a mall complex surrounded by stores, restaurants and bars and is just minutes from Manhattan.
Day 4 - New York City A short journey on the ferry this morning will take you to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Ample time will be allowed to explore both islands on your own. Next, we make our way to upper Manhattan to get a birds-eye view of the city from "Top of the Rock" at Rockefeller Plaza. Later today, you will have more free time. Perhaps visit Central Park, browse the beautiful shops along 5th Avenue, or enjoy a museum or art gallery. We return to the hotel later in the day to relax and freshen up. The highlight of the tour comes this evening aboard the magnificent yacht "Spirit of New York". You will dine in fine style, enjoy a cabaret style show and dance or listen to DJ music as you sail past the illuminated Statue of Liberty and tall buildings ablaze with lights. Enjoy a cocktail on the upper deck with spectacular views of the greatest skyline in the world. A fitting end to an exciting tour.
Day 5 - Homeward bound Enjoy the scenic journey homeward via the Pocono Mountains. Buffet meal included today.
