DAY 1: After all our traveling companions are on board, a stop will be made at the duty free shop before crossing the border into New York State. Sit back and enjoy the scenery today as our luxury coach winds its way through mountains and valleys en route to the 'Big Apple'.
A buffet meal is included before arriving in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey for a 3 night stay. The lovely Hilton Garden Inn is a new hotel situated close to the Lincoln Tunnel connecting Manhattan & New York and minutes from the Empire State Building. For the shoppers in our group, the Secaucus Outlet mall is minutes away. Hotel amenities include restaurant, lounge and indoor swimming pool.
DAY 2: A short drive will take us through the Lincoln Tunnel into Manhattan. Our escort will do a walking tour with you through St. Patrick's Cathedral. Next, you get a magnificent bird's eye view of Manhattan from "Top Of The Rock" at Rockefeller plaza. Now it's time to sit back and relax as our New York guide takes you on an informative tour on New York City. You will also drive through many of the well-known neighborhoods and tourist attractions and see where the rich and famous live. Later today you will have free time at Southstreet Seaport, a kaleidoscope of boutiques, street entertainers and street vendors. Enjoy lunch on your own, indoors or out as you watch the tankers and tugboats pass under the Brooklyn Bridge. A photo stop will also be made at ground zero with some amazing memorials. Please note: We cannot guarantee that you will have access to the new memorial at ground zero. Next, we return to the hotel to relax and freshen up before departing again to return to the city for a driving tour of Times Square and Broadway when the city is ablaze with lights.
DAY 3: This morning, after a hearty breakfast, we make our way to Battery Park, where you will board the ferry to take you to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Ample time will be allowed for you to explore on your own. Next, our luxury coach will transport you to upper Manhattan where you will have more free time to explore on your own. Perhaps take a horse and carriage ride through Central Park, or explore the shops along 5th Ave. This evening, it's "All Aboard" the magnificent yacht "The Spirit of New York" You will dine in fine style, enjoy a cabaret style show and dance or listen to DJ music as you sail past the illuminated Statue of Liberty. Enjoy a cocktail on the upper deck as you cruise past the Manhattan skyline with tall buildings ablaze with lights, truly a fitting end to a wonderful weekend in the Big Apple.
DAY 4: Enjoy the scenic journey homeward via the Pocono Mountains.
Buffet meal included before crossing the border back into Canada.
